    Examflicks English Overview

The central focus of our English course is to boost  students’ confidence in their ability to tackle English language style questions (verbs, nouns, prefixes, proverbs, idioms, synonyms, antonyms, grammar, spelling and much more). Grammar, comprehension and creative writing tasks – all crucial components of the selective secondary school exams.

The course spans three modules, designed to strengthen a student’s writing and critical thinking skills. Within each module you’ll find a number of subjects split into distinct topics covered by 5 minute teaching tutorials. Building on this, they will also be guided through ways to improve the fluency of their own writing through the broadening of their vocabulary, increasing the accuracy of their spelling and grammar, and the use of ambitious literary and linguistic devices (such as similes, hyperbole, metaphors and alliteration, to name a few).

End of topic tests – modelled after real 11+ papers, marked automatically with instant results and model answers – add an active component to the course, allowing students to consolidate their knowledge through practical application and assessment.

    Examflicks Maths Overview

Our Maths course consists of specialised videos tailored towards specific topics that come up most frequently in the 11+ exams, of which the Maths paper is always a crucial component.
